Art Music Poetry

In 2009, Sherman Central School music teacher Andrew Minton teamed up with Infinity Performing Arts Director Shane Hawkins to create Infinite Artistry. The program was started as an avenue for area students in grades 7-12 to publish and share their artwork, receive recognition, and inspire other students to explore art media.

Artwork is displayed monthly here on the Infinite Artistry website, with possible plans to release a quarterly "best works" paper gallery in the Chautauqua Region WORD magazine. Art will also be displayed live at various Infinity functions and in the Infinity Studio.

Each area school has a designated liason responsible for collecting, evaluating, and submitting art samples. Interested students may give their artwork to their school's art teacher, or call the Infinity Performing Arts Program at (716) 664-0991 if they do not have a participating art teacher. These artwork samples will then be uploaded by Infinite Artistry coordinators! All submitted artwork should be formatted in .doc (text), .jpeg or .png (photos), and .mp3 (music).

Infinite Artistry is comprised of three different categories: Literary Works (poetry, prose, creative writing); Visual Arts (sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, graphic art/computer art, collage, fiber arts, ceramics, crafts); and Music (recordings of original or public domain music).
